superiority v. pragmatism
i am just curious about people's perceptions about human behavioral trends. a little more specifically, how humans perceive each other on a status ladder. recently my friend said this:
"Ok, well it is a known fact that the majority of dominican’s are brought up with the mentality that they are better than everyone else and are smarter. The difference is that they aren’t showy about it, but if you were to talk to one long enough you’d see it. There always right never wrong. Why do you think they marry non Dominicans. LOL!"
my perception of the chinese is that they are too pragmatic to think generalized superiority v. inferiority. it is you can or can't do something specific. admittedly, i am already biased in believing that this approach is superior; i think it is extremely notable to be able to nix a generalized idea of dominance for pragmatism.
there is no particular conclusion i'm trying to come to, i think i'm trying to find some sort of conclusion i can make about some subject i can't put a finger on. so post down your opinions of ethnic behaviors and your reactions to them

Hmm, all I know is that Dominicans like to wear socks with sandals, Chinese people have great noodles, and the opinions of Puerto Ricans who speak no Spanish (like me) doesn't really matter.
