office talk

when you're in the mood to listen, frustrated office talk is sometimes really funny. i heard someone down the hall yelling into her phone a few minutes ago, frustrated with the situation she had to deal with but not frustrated with the person with whom she was speaking; so in order to dispel any disquietude she says:

trust me, i'm with you on this boat
I'M ROWING!
